The Perfect Storm of Style & Function.

This Pricey Car Vacuum Isn’t As Good As Our Pick, But I’m Still a Fan

Spread the love

Keeping your car clear of crumbs and general detritus can feel like a Sisyphean task. Whether you’re a parent cleaning up crushed Cheerios or a pet owner tackling layers of fur, it’s only a matter of time before the mess you’ve removed is replaced by another one.

While there’s no stopping the cycle, with a good car vacuum, you stand a better chance of keeping the chaos under control. So when my colleagues and I spotted the Airify Pro V3 on social media, we were intrigued. Instagram reels and TikToks show off how easily the small, handheld car vacuum sucks up debris from cracks and crevices and blasts away leftover dust and crumbs.

The buzzy vacuum has inspired a slew of cheap knockoffs, and at this writing, the only reliable place to buy the Airify Pro V3 is Airify’s official site. Interested in testing the car vacuum that has prompted competitors to make their own versions, we contacted Airify directly to acquire a test unit.

To find out how the newcomer would fare against a tried-and-true Wirecutter pick, I used the Airify Pro V3 and the Ryobi 18V One+ Performance Hand Vacuum to tackle the same backseat mess.
